Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: MondayFriday, plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and dependable HGV Technician to join our busy workshop in Bracknell. Youll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs in line with DVSA standards
* Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance
* Identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults
* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
* Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet workshop deadlines
* Adhere to all health, safety, and compliance procedures
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience)
* Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
