We are looking for a radiographer to join our growing interventional radiology team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Previous Interventional Radiology experience is not required; full training will be provided. We seek candidates with a passion for Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities
* Provide high quality imaging and patient care during complex Interventional Radiology procedures.
* Position patients and equipment, acquire, manipulate and archive images using specialised equipment.
* Manage sterile consumables and maintain detailed knowledge of their use.
* Respond rapidly to equipment requests and advise radiology trainees and consultants.
* Minimise radiation exposure to patients, staff and others during procedures.
* Participate in 24/7 out‑of‑hours, non‑residential on‑call service and work flexible shifts.
* Lead audit projects and support research that improves service delivery.
Qualifications
* Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.
* HCPC registration.
* Experience or training within the NHS.
* Link‑grading from B5‑B6 considered for candidates with less than two years' experience.
