We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Housing Worker to join a dedicated team delivering vital services to individuals experiencing homelessness. This role is essential in providing safe, high-quality accommodation and support to those who need it most.
Your new role
Working pattern of Tuesday - Saturday.
* Deliver a high-quality 'off the street' accommodation service for individuals rough sleeping within Exeter.
* Progress and track referrals into the service.
* Build positive and effective working relationships with relevant agencies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
* Take part in rostered systems of working between 08:00 AM and 08:00 PM, including weekends as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong understanding of the root causes of homelessness and social exclusion.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
* Essential:
o A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
o Business insurance for work-related travel.
