Responsibilities
* Proactively reach out to prospects, qualify leads, and generate new business opportunities
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, preparing and following up on quotes to maximize conversion
* Build and develop strong relationships with existing and repeat customers
* Support retention of key clients while uncovering new revenue opportunities
* Maintain and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through to order/sample stage
* Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, tracking enquiries, quotes, and interactions
* Collaborate closely with internal teams including account management, marketing, and operations
* Re-engage dormant customers and follow up on marketing-generated leads
Qualifications and Requirements
This role suits candidates with previous experience in internal sales, customer‑facing, or proactive sales roles. Candidates should be confident using the phone to build relationships and drive business, possess a proactive, self‑motivated mindset with a strong commercial focus, and have the ability to identify opportunities and manage them through to conversion. Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail are essential.
