About the Role
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at our Menstrie manufacturing site for a Quality Systems Lead. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our Audit Programme and Quality Management Systems, ensuring full compliance with the Kerry Manufacturing Standard (KMS), Site Food Security and Food Safety Programs, Group Regulatory policies, Product specifications, and all other Customer requirements. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the site's external and internal audit programme (including GSS, FSSC, Customers, Third Party, Authorities) to ensure audits are completed on schedule and drive the closeout of non-conformances.
* Establish a robust QMS Audit Programme and schedule covering all relevant standards, defined by risk assessment.
* Ensure compliance with external accreditations, including GSS, KSCA, FSSC, Halal, Kosher, GMP+, non-GMO, etc.
* Own, maintain, and drive continuous improvement in the site's Quality Management System (QMS) framework procedures and documentation.
* Ensure the site's QMS, Food Safety Programme (HACCP), and Allergen Management Programmes comply with all required standards and are regularly reviewed/audited.
* Lead and support the HACCP Team, developing HACCP plans and associated documentation in line with Kerry Global HACCP standards.
* Develop, manage, and coordinate training needs for Food hygiene standards, HACCP, TACCP & Allergens.
* Manage direct reports, fostering their development and support.
* Generate, maintain, and update internal quality and food safety/quality site KPIs and customer reports, providing accurate data analysis.
* Ensure an Approved Supplier Programme and Food Defence Programme are in place, with full support from Central Group Functions.
* Maintain a robust traceability procedure that is regularly challenged.
* Oversee the site's Crisis Management Programme.
* Handle customer complaints, responses, reporting, and trending.
* Ensure all materials extended to the site have necessary approvals and are correctly set up in MDG/SAP/Eurofins.
* Build relationships with centralized functions to ensure smooth introduction of new products/processes.
Qualifications and Skills
* Significant Quality experience in the Food/Beverage/Pharma industry with a keen eye for detail.
* Degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology related subject.
* Lead Auditor Qualification and familiarity with various standards.
* HACCP Level 4 (Minimum).
* Food Hygiene Level 3 (Minimum).
* Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills; fluency in English.
* Numerical ability to record, interpret, and analyze key data.
* SAP experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office tools.
