I’m pleased to announce that we are now recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. We’re a team that works hard, has fun, and celebrates our success.
Finance Business Partners at the Mining Remediation Authority enjoy a varied role reflecting the diverse activities of the organization. To keep things interesting, business areas are rotated every 1-2 years.
You will see yourself as a Finance Director for your supported business area, thinking holistically, being involved regularly, and providing excellent service in planning, reporting, governance, and decision support.
You will receive a generous benefits package, including a performance-based bonus scheme and support for ongoing development, with all staff required to complete 5 days of training.
Responsibilities
Alongside six other Finance Business Partners, reporting to the Principal Finance Manager, you will provide management accounting and decision support to the Management teams, including financial planning, analysis, commercial support, performance monitoring, and reporting. Governance and risk assessment are also key components.
You will manage your performance, meeting individual, team, and organizational objectives, contributing positively, and aligning with our values and behaviors. You will identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value for money.
Skills and Experience
We value mature interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.

Role location: Hybrid working (average 2 days in our Mansfield office)
