Our Canterbury Engineering department is looking for an experienced Administrator to join the team. This role will manage and coordinate the administration functions of the engineering department, assisting with all aspects of administration. This position is based at our site in Ashburton.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
1. Processing weekly timesheets into the payroll system.
2. Supporting site accounts payable, including raising purchase orders, arranging receipt of goods, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating payments with the ANZCO department.
3. Recording trade hours worked and capturing history in CMMS daily, in line with ANZCO requirements.
4. Coordinating and ensuring site personnel requirements are met without shortages of temporary or permanent staff.
5. Assisting the HSE Representative in developing and implementing site-specific safety and environmental programs, in line with the OH&S Act, statutory requirements, and ANZCO policies.
Skills and Experience required:
* Administration experience in a maintenance/industrial environment.
* Payroll administration skills; knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
* Knowledge of CMMS.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
* Experience coordinating apprentices is desirable.
