Standard working hours: 08:00 - 16:00, with flexibility required
Requirements:
At least 5 years of professional bakery experience
Minimum 3 years hands-on donut-making experience (artisan or large-batch)
Expert knowledge across the full donut-making process: mixing, proofing, frying, glazing, finishing
Strong understanding of dough behaviour, frying methods, and bakery science
Proven ability to deliver consistent results in a commercial production environment
High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working early mornings independently
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg
Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Donut Baker, you will:
Lead daily donut production, including yeast-raised, cake, filled, and specialty varieties
Mix, proof, fry, glaze, finish, and decorate products to precise standards
Contribute to recipe development and refinement to maintain premium quality
Support preparation of additional bakery items when required
Manage production schedules to ensure efficiency and product freshness
Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
Train and support junior team members
