GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a thriving school in Doncaster from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator with a passion for nurturing children’s growth during their foundational years of learning.
Role Overview:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the national curriculum to early aged pupils, ensuring their academic, social, and emotional needs are met through engaging and differentiated teaching.
Key Responsibilities as a KS1 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative and well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.
Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment where children feel valued.
Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil development.
Maintain a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and early learning goals.
Foster positive behaviour and promote a love for learning in every pupil.
Candidate Requirements for KS1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a UK school setting.
A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to teaching.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
