Responsibilities
* Upgrade, maintain and support the z/OS operating system
* Upgrade, maintain and support ISV products, particularly from vendors IBM and Broadcom
* Provide production support
* Engage in global product engineering to develop global technical solutions for HSBC’s mainframe domain across multiple regions and countries using agile methodology
Qualifications
* Advanced experience of mainframe systems programming
* Knowledge of z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL
* Provide off‑hours support for the implementation of software changes and support for other projects requiring software expertise; also be part of an on‑call rota
* Knowledge of IBM and CA Products and be able to work independently
This role is based in Sheffield, Barnsley, Birmingham or Leeds.
