Your Main Responsibilities as Temp Sous Chef
* Lead and supervise the kitchen team, deputizing for the Head Chef during shifts.
* Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to consistent high standards.
* Assist in stock control, ordering, and kitchen organization.
* Maintain strict food hygiene, safety, and allergen standards at all times.
* Deliver excellent service during busy lunch and dinner periods.
* Adapt quickly to new systems and contribute to a positive working environment.
* Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of two years as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant or brasserie.
* Current Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness certification.
* Passionate about food quality, creativity, and guest satisfaction.
* Team leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Adaptability and a hands-on, problem-solving attitude.
* Knowledge of current food safety regulations; a DBS check is desirable.
