Job Opportunity: Sous Chef (Nights)
Location: Amazon LBA5, LS9 0DZ
Pay Rate: £15.50 – £16.00 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - 7.30pm – 3:30am
Working Pattern: 5 nights over 7 (including weekends)
Overtime: Paid, if required
Operation: 24/7 Site
We’re looking for an Sous Chef for the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen within a 24/7 operation. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and reliable chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations
* Maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene
* Support with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
* Lead and inspire junior kitchen staff when required

* Proven experience as a CDP or Senior CDP in a high-volume environment
* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Excellent coaching, delegation and influencing skills
* Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and able to thrive under pressure
* Meticulous organisational abilities and a high attention to detail
