It's a supported and driven maintenance team, looking after a range of production machinery via planned and reactive maintenance, as well as completing project work. It is a varied and interesting role, no two days are the same, always juggling and prioritising workloads. Responsibilities Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, working a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, 6pm till 6am. Your role will include, although not limited to: Planned Preventative Maintenance across a range of equipment and machinery. Dealing with machinery breakdowns and problems, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs. Assisting with planned shut-downs and project work, refurbishing machines and replacing worn parts. Requirements Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or hold Mechanical Engineering qualifications Experience in a similar environment; Industrial, Production or Manufacturing environments - most considered Maintenance experience; dealing with machinery and equipment problems and breakdowns and/or completing preventative maintenance of plant/industrial machinery Any experience of SOME of the following; Belts, Chains, Gear Boxes, Pumps, Bearings, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding and Fabricating etc Motivated and driven to succeed Willing to take on and complete further training as part of your growth and development in the factory and company If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
