Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant & Outreach Support Worker (KS3/4/5) - Multiple Vacancies
Location: Leyland SEMH School
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (Temporary to Permanent Opportunities Available)

We are seeking multiple dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants & Outreach Support Workers to join our thriving SEMH school in Leyland, supporting students aged 11-18.

About the School:
Our school provides a safe, nurturing, and aspirational environment for students with SEMH needs. We are committed to helping every learner reach their potential through tailored support, consistent routines, and strong, trusting relationships. As part of our team, you'll benefit from a huge focus on continuous professional development (CPD) to help you grow your skills and progress your career in SEN education.

The Role:

* Support students with SEMH needs across KS3, KS4, and KS5 within the classroom and during outreach sessions.

* Build strong, positive relationships and act as a trusted adult for young people who may have faced barriers to learning.

* Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to ensure consistent, joined-up support.

* Assist in managing behaviour positively and promote emotional regulation and resilience.

* Deliver tailored interventions and support plans, both onsite and through outreach work where needed.

About You:

* Confident, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure.

* Experience working with young people with SEMH needs (in education, youth work, care, or similar) is desirable but not essential.

* A sense of humour, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.

* A commitment to your own professional development - our school will invest in you.
