We are recruiting for a Medical Education Foundation Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This role is part of the Medical Education team, promoting and providing a quality medical and dental education service in accordance with national, regional and Trust standards.
The post holder will be responsible for the coordination of all Foundation Training Programme rotations within the Trust and for all activities directly related to monitoring, reporting and evaluation of foundation training posts. The post holder will work in close liaison with those listed under key working relationships.
Medical education is a specialised field, the post holder is expected to continually acquire knowledge in an area that is subject to constant change.

Main duties of the job
Coordination of foundation training programme rotations in liaison with NHS England East of England (NHSE), Medical Education managers and Medical Workforce.
Be the main point of contact within the Trust for NHSE Foundation Schools.
Maintain accurate records of rotations and trainees for Foundation Year 1 and Foundation Year 2 trainees.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to arrange GP and Psychiatry placements for Foundation doctors.
Coordinate educational and clinical supervisors for foundation doctors in training.
Administration of national Foundation e-portfolio including provision of training for supervisors, assessors and foundation doctors.
