Retail Stock Assistant – Stockport
Retail & Asset Solutions is hiring Retail Stock Assistant positions with an immediate start. Salary: £13.73 inclusive of holiday pay (equivalent to £12.25 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay).
Responsibilities
* Count inventory quickly and accurately using handheld scanners.
* Retrieve and store stock as required, sometimes reaching high stock areas.
* Maintain accurate counts and report any discrepancies.
* Work 3–4 shifts per week, each 8–12 hours; often unsociable hours including early mornings and nights.
* Stand for prolonged periods during shifts.
Requirements
* Must be 18 years or older.
* Willingness to work unsociable hours and long shifts.
* Positive “can do” attitude and quick learning ability.
* Experience handling stock is an advantage but not required.
* Good physical stamina to stand and use a handheld scanner.
