About the role
We are currently looking for a Deputy Shop Manager who will initially support us in establishing our brand-new shop in Scarborough, working with the Shop Manager to i mplement processes and ways of working.
On an ongoing basis, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including managing a team of volunteers, ensuring accurate accounting and handling of assets, delivering high standards of customer service, and adhering to all charity policies and procedures. You will lead by example and ensure that volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond.
You will need to be committed to creating a welcoming professional atmosphere and demonstrating the values of Yorkshire Cancer Research. You will also be a passionate and enthusiastic ambassador for the charity and its work.
