***NEW ROLE*** | Conveyancing Fee earner / Hybrid | Manchester |
I'm currently working with a highly regarded legal practice that is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its specialist property team on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This is a genuinely unique conveyancing opportunity offering high-quality, bespoke work rather than volume-driven transactional conveyancing. The team exclusively supports existing private clients, trusts, and Court of Protection matters, meaning every transaction is different and often more complex and interesting than standard residential conveyancing work. The firm also does not act for lenders or undertake "off the street" conveyancing, allowing fee earners to focus on delivering a more tailored and client-focused service.
The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload involving freehold and leasehold properties, including leasehold flats, as well as registered and unregistered land. Experience dealing with tenancies, repossession proceedings, and wider property-related matters such as boundary disputes and neighbour issues is essential. Any exposure to reviewing building survey reports and coordinating additional specialist reports would also be highly beneficial.
The role will involve managing transactions from instruction through to post-completion, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry registrations. You will also liaise closely with surveyors, estate agents, clients, and third-party solicitors, attend client meetings where required, and support the wider Court of Protection team with property-related matters.
This position would suit someone with at least three years' experience managing residential conveyancing matters as a fee earner, who is confident drafting their own correspondence and reports and can proactively manage files from start to finish with minimal supervision. Candidates will ideally hold a law degree, PGDL, ILEX qualification, or Council for Licensed Conveyancers qualification.
The firm offers a strong culture of internal progression and development, with genuine opportunities to move into other areas and progress your career long term. Hybrid working is also available following induction and training
