Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.
Key Responsibilities - Building Surveyor
Carrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildings
Identifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements
Preparing survey reports with findings and recommendations
Managing planned and reactive maintenance works
Overseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of work
Ensuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulations
Assisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutions
Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates
Liaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments
Supporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects
Monitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projects
Keeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
Conducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard
Ensuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements
Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
