HGV Driver – Class 1Are you a dedicated HGV Driverlooking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? At Tarmac, we are on the lookout for an HGV Driverto be based at our site in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.About the RoleReporting into the Transport Manager, the successful HGV Driverwill be responsible for ensuring both the lorry and trailers are checked regularly with any defects noted and highlighted to the fitter and office. That any journeys are undertaken safely and legally with the loads being checked and secured.What you'll be doingIn this role, you as the successful HGV Driverwill be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)Ensuring that journeys are planned to follow the STGO Cat 2 movement order, so the Planer arrives on site for the specified shift start timeLiaising with the Planer Foreman and Operatives; ensuring they work together as a TeamWorking safely and in conjunction with current Driving RegulationsTaking materials planed up on site to a designated tipRecording planing loads and tip details on load transfer tickets that are later returned to the Office Complying with company standards and procedures and be in regular contact with the NRP Transport ManagerPlease note the role will require Day and Night working and weekend working as required.
