Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturer for the construction & civil engineering sector in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in St Helens
Job Details:
Pay: £16 per hour
Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
Duration: Temporary (Long-term work with a good chance of a permanent contract)
Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication of steel products using galvanised and thin gauge steel (1.5mm - 3.5mm). Your duties will include MIG welding, oxyacetylene and plasma cutting, reading and working from engineering drawings, and operating a range of workshop machinery and power tools.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
MIG Welding
Fabrication of steel components
Using power tools
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
C&G/NVQ in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
Previous experience working with galvanised steel
Previous experience working with thin gauge steel
Commutable From: St Helens, Warrington, Skelmersdale, Widnes, Runcorn, Liverpool, Ormskirk
