Job Description: We are looking for a proficient MIG Welder/Fabricator with extensive experience in structural steelwork. The successful candidate will work on large-scale projects within the rail and civil engineering sectors, ensuring that all fabrications meet the highest standards of quality and safety Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on structural steel components for large-scale rail and civil engineering projects. Fabricate steel structures according to engineering drawings and project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to ensure precise fabrication and assembly. Conduct quality checks to ensure welds and fabrications meet stringent industry standards and project requirements. Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools efficiently and safely. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure project timelines and quality objectives are met. Participate in site installations and adjustments as required by project specifications. Qualifications: Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator, particularly with structural steel. Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and equipment. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Comprehensive knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Relevant welding certification (preferred but not required). Preferred Experience: Experience working on large-scale rail and civil engineering projects. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to structural steel fabrication. Experience with site installations and working in diverse environments
