An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Accounts Payable Team for an Administrator. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be the 'go-to' person for queries within the accounts payable team.

The Job

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring that supplier invoices are accurately coded, approved, and processed. You will monitor the email inbox, reconcile supplier statements and will complete new supplier due diligence. As the go-to person for resolving supplier disputes, you'll demonstrate problem-solving skills and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Daily tasks include:

1. Creation of new supplier accounts and maintenance of existing accounts as necessary.
2. Review supplier statement reconciliations and rectifying any discrepancies.
3. Allocation of direct debit and proforma payments to ensure unallocated payments are kept to a minimum.
4. Verify accuracy of invoices and ensuring correct coding is applied.
5. To be a point of contact for key stakeholders and colleagues across the business.
6. Ensuring invoices are approved for payment in a timely manner.
7. To help build relationships with suppliers by answering queries in a timely and helpful manner.
8. Adhering to agreed processes and controls, ensuring compliance with best practice.
9. Performing other similar duties and responsibilities as and when required to support the finance team of a team in a fast-paced environment.
10. To adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental.
