FP&A Analyst Department : Finance Reports To : Head of Finance Location : Dartford Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team within a Mecsia subsidiary. This role will support strategic decision-making by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting and reporting. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Head of Finance to drive performance, optimise costs and support business growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-term financial plans. Collaborate with operational teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis and KPI dashboards. Analyse financial performance across service lines, contracts and cost centres. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency. Business Partnering: Support operational and commercial teams with financial insights and decision support. Provide ad hoc analysis for new business opportunities, contract renewals and pricing strategies. Process Improvement: Enhance reporting tools and automate financial models to improve accuracy and efficiency. Contribute to the development of financial systems and processes. Compliance & Governance: Ensure financial practices align with internal policies and external regulations. Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation and analysis. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (CIMA/ACCA/ACA/AAT part or fully qualified preferred). 1-2 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally within facilities management or service-based industries. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, PowerQuery) is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
