As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Office Support Apprentice to join our expanding team. No previous experience is needed — just a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, and a genuine interest in numbers and business.
Responsibilities:
* Provide a professional first point of contact for callers, routing them accurately and efficiently.
* Become a systems expert and learn and use accounting software such as ClearBooks and Dext to process financial data.
* Using Clearbooks which is a Cloud-based accounting software for creating invoices and generating financial reports such as profit & loss and balance sheets.
* Using Dext which is a cloud-based data capture and bookkeeping automation tool used for receipts and invoiced and extracting data using AI.
* Support the delivery of accurate and timely financial information for clients.
* Use collaborative technology such as the IRIS Practice Management system to store and maintain financial data.
* Use Excel to track spreadsheets, apply basic formulas, and monitor income and expenditure and record and manage purchase and sales transactions in line with company procedures.
* Use Outlook and other tools to communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
* Support the wider team with administrative and financial tasks as required.
* Work with a variety of financial documents and data sources.
* Perform bookkeeping tasks for clients using different accounting platforms.

* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Well-organised with good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
* Friendly, honest, and a supportive team player.
Salary:
£14,918.80 - £19,760 per annum (depending on age)
Working hours:
38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 6pm, Friday 8:30am – 12.30pm
