About The Company Disrupt Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established exhibition design and build business delivering high-quality projects across the UK and internationally. Known for their creative delivery, operational excellence, and strong client relationships, they are now looking to appoint a Head of Projects to lead and strengthen their project delivery function.
The Role This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of exhibition and event projects. You will lead the Project Management team, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard, while maintaining a strong commercial focus. This role requires someone who is both
technically strong
and
commercially astute, as well as a confident communicator and experienced team manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Project Management team across multiple live projects
Take ownership of project delivery from brief through to installation and breakdown
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
Oversee planning, resource allocation, and scheduling across the business
Act as a senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders
Drive commercial performance, ensuring strong margin control and cost management
Work closely with design, production, and install teams to ensure seamless delivery
Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track
Improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability
Mentor, support, and develop the project team
About You
Proven experience in a senior project or leadership role within exhibitions, events, or design & build
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and profitability
Technically competent with a solid understanding of exhibition build and delivery
Excellent communicator, confident with clients and internal teams
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
