Job Purpose & Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementations of Iplicit Accounting Software and the Vena FP&A platform.
The successful candidate will deliver the project on time and within budget, with strong user adoption, ultimately ensuring that every implementation provides a measurable return on investment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning & Strategy
* Develop and own the end-to-end implementation plan, including scope, deliverables, success criteria, milestones, and resources.
* Establish a robust project governance framework with clear escalation paths, steering committee oversight, and structured reporting cadence.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments; identify and mitigate technical, financial, and operational risks.
* Define and monitor KPIs to measure project health, system adoption, and the realisation of financial benefits.
2. Implementation & Execution
* Oversee all phases of implementation — Discovery, Design, Build, Testing, Training, Go-Live, and post-implementation support.
* Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Finance SMEs, IT specialists, and customer consultants.
* Manage customer deliverables, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, technical specifications, and data security standards.
* Supervise system configuration, data migration, and integrations
* Ensure all design decisions support scalability, compliance with controls, and end-user usability.
3. Stakeholder & Change Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication across all business units.
* Partner with executive sponsors to align the project with organisational strategy.
* Create and execute a comprehensive change management plan focused on engagement, communication, and adoption.
* Facilitate stakeholder workshops for process mapping, training, and feedback.
4. Team Leadership & Vendor Management
* Lead and motivate a diverse, cross-functional team to deliver on objectives.
* Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and accountability across internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage performance, SLAs, and governance meetings to ensure delivery excellence.
5. Quality Assurance & Transition
* Ensure all deliverables meet business and quality standards before acceptance.
* Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of financial models, data accuracy, and reporting outputs.
* Oversee the development of training materials and end-user enablement sessions.
* Manage the cutover, go-live, and post-implementation support process, ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.
* Conduct lessons-learned reviews and finalise documentation for future reference.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
* Project Management certification (required).
* Change management certification is advantageous.
Experience
* 7–10 years of experience of software implementation and project management, within an Accounting and or FP&A framework.
* Strong background in finance transformation, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
* Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments within large or matrixed organisations.
* Technical proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
* Experience integrating systems with enterprise applications and reporting platforms.
