About the role: You will be supporting the Global Engagement team with the administration and delivery of the department. We welcome international students from across the world who study on level 3 courses either for an immersive experience or to gain qualifications. The successful candidate will require excellent organisational and administration skills, outstanding attention to detail, be I.T. literate and have high levels of emotional intelligence. Key Responsibilities: To support the Global Engagement team with core business functions including general administration, letter and report writing, supporting the completion of paperwork, data collection and analysis (student, agent and home-stay parent). Carrying out designated record keeping with attention to detail (including but not limited to; monitoring our Global email account, updating and organisation of the Global Department e-filing systems plus other-directed tasks. To assist the team with Global marketing, liaising directly with the College Marketing team (social media, resources and department literature). To assist with invoicing and payment of International Student fees, (follow up non-payments, and record on a spreadsheet amount paid and owing). Liaise closely with the Finance Team. To support with the administration of international student accommodation, advising students and home-stay partners of accommodation details and providing necessary induction and orientation advice. To co-ordinate the international students social programme which includes initiating, planning, organising and accompanying students (where appropriate) on day trips, weekend visits and social activities to ensure a positive experience for international students. To deliver ongoing personal support to international students making referrals to student services where necessary and contribute to safeguarding their wellbeing. To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Experience and understanding of working within established business processes and administration. A good standard of Maths and English Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Attention to detail Friendly and outgoing approach towards our international students.
