Interim Project Accountant (3-6 Months)
I am looking to speak with Interim project accountants, who are immediately available on behalf of a high growth, global consultancy.
Responsibilities include:
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Project Finance
* Raise client invoices in NetSuite and ensure accurate project setup.
* Manage credit control and follow up on outstanding payments.
Accounts Payable (AP) & Bank
* Coordinate AP processing and bank with external accountants.
* Manage employee travel and expense claims.
* Prepare and execute payment runs.
* Correspondence with suppliers (statements, remittances, etc).
* Manage cashflow.
Financial Coordination & Reporting
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and followed.
Subsidiary Coordination & Compliance
* Coordinate with local Managing Directors (MDs) on a weekly basis.
* Serve as main liaison with local external accountants.
* Maintain awareness of local GAAP requirements and compliance standards.
Systems & Process Improvement
* Support the migration to NetSuite and contribute to system optimization.
* Drive internal process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Accounting or Finance (BA or MA).
* 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or financial operations.
* Proven ability to work with external accountants and local advisors.
* Experience working within international, multi-entity environments.
* NetSuite proficiency is essential.
* Familiarity with local GAAP in Germany, the Netherlands, Italy or Japan is a plus.
* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including Managing Directors.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
