Ad Operations Specialist – Google Ad Manager (GAM)
3-Month Contract | Hybrid – London Waterloo (1-2 days onsite per week) | ASAP Start | Day rate £185 inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Morson Edge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Ad Operations Specialist to join a growing Retail Media team on an initial 3-month contract basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, fast-paced team responsible for the ad monetisation and retail media function across the business. The role would suit someone with 1-3 years’ experience within AdOps, campaign management, or digital media operations who enjoys owning campaigns end-to-end and troubleshooting in a dynamic environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of onsite digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately, optimised effectively, and delivered successfully.
This role combines hands-on Ad Operations, campaign optimisation, reporting, and operational/commercial support.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Operations & Campaign Delivery
* Manage onsite banner campaigns across Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Criteo Commerce
* Own the full campaign lifecycle from brief intake through to campaign completion
* Traffic, optimise, monitor and troubleshoot live campaigns
* Perform QA checks before campaign launches, ensuring assets, tracking and targeting are correctly configured
* Investigate and resolve campaign delivery issues efficiently
* Monitor campaign pacing and delivery to minimise commercial risk
* Produce weekly campaign delivery and performance updates
* Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution
Commercial & Operational Support
* Support PO processing and campaign reconciliation
* Assist with billing and invoice validation aligned to campaign delivery
* Maintain campaign tracking dashboards and operational reporting
* Coordinate product and tracking updates with external partners including Brandswap, Criteo and Epsilon
Experience Required
* 1-3 years’ experience within Ad Operations, Campaign Management or Digital Media Operations
* Strong experience using Google Ad Manager (GAM) – essential
* Experience with Criteo Commerce – highly desirable
* Experience managing campaigns end-to-end
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team environment
* Experience using AI tools or Microsoft suite products to support campaign management/reporting would be advantageous
