Delivery Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced manager to lead our delivery team, ensuring trading efficiency, safety, legal compliance, and high customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to customer satisfaction, pride in their work, and capable of motivating and developing their team to improve delivery operations.
This role is based at one of our delivery locations, requiring experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead your team to ensure branch trading efficiency, safety, legal compliance, and exceptional customer service.
2. Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
3. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and set challenging payroll cost targets.
4. Understand the local market to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Manage your team effectively to meet customer service requirements, engaging with customers and using feedback for continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop ways of working.
7. Possess relevant experience and knowledge of deliveries and transport, along with:
8. Management CPC certification.
9. Experience managing a warehouse operation.
10. Ability to engage with customers and build strong relationships.
11. Develop new ideas and challenge the team to enhance delivery service.
12. Identify talent and promote team development.
13. Motivate the team to foster a strong customer service culture.
14. Communicate openly and influence stakeholders effectively.
15. Plan and organize efficiently.
16. A proactive, hands-on approach is advantageous.
