About the Role We are looking for caring, adaptable and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools in Liverpool. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will support in either Nurture bases or provide 1:1 support in mainstream Primary Schools. You will be working with pupils with a variety of needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Key Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO. Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies. Support the recording and monitoring of pupils progress and achievements. To be an SEN Teaching Assistant Have experience working with children or young people with SEND (school-based or similar setting). Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance, Childcare, or a related field (Level 3 desirable). Are patient, compassionate and committed to supporting childrens learning and wellbeing. Can work flexibly across different school environments.
