The role
To be responsible and accountable for managing and completing all workload allocated as part of a committed team dedicated to providing a First Class Quality Payroll Service for MAG and all MAG employees. Ensure the accurate, confidential and timely delivery of all tasks associated with the delivery and output of the payroll within Group Finance Shared Services, by ensuring that all aspects of pay and pay related matters are undertaken, meeting all required statutory standards, whilst working closely with, and supporting the rest of the payroll team and stakeholders.
What will make you successful in the role?
5. Essential: 2 years of experience of working in a Payroll department or payroll related role.
6. Excellent understanding of payroll statutory obligations such as:
7. All statutory absence requirement: SSP, Maternity, Paternity including Alabaster, etc.
8. TAX & NI
9. Auto Enrolment
10. NMW
11. Ability to understand and calculations company rules for salaries/hourly rates etc.
12. A customer focussed approach, dealing efficiently and professionally with all internal and external contacts
13. Good verbal and written communication skills
