Their services focus on supporting individuals affected by homelessness and housing instability, empowering people to rebuild their lives with dignity, independence, and hope.
The Role
As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and security of individuals during overnight hours. You will provide reassurance, respond to emerging needs, and help maintain a calm and supportive environment for residents.

You will contribute to creating a safe and stable environment overnight, supporting residents to feel secure while encouraging progress towards independent living.
The temporary accommodation service provides essential homelessness support through a range of accommodation-based services.
Support individuals experiencing homelessness who may also face multiple and complex needs, including:
* Substance use
* Mental health challenges
* Physical health issues
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness
* Promote safety, security, and wellbeing throughout the night
* Monitor access to the building, including CCTV and visitor management
* Support residents with tenancy-related needs and independent living skills
* De-escalate situations and resolve conflicts sensitively
* Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
* Participate in handovers with day staff to ensure continuity of support
* Work in line with homelessness, safeguarding, and health & safety policies
What we are looking for
Essential
* Willingness to work towards SSSC qualification requirements
* Ability to work independently and make sound decisions at night
* Passion for supporting people experiencing homelessness
* Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and patient approach
* Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
Desirable
* Experience in homelessness, housing, or social care services
* Relevant qualification (SCQF Level 7 or above)
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice or complex needs support
* Understanding of the Care Inspectorate and SSSC
Additional Information
* Night shift work is essential for this role
* PVG membership and SSSC registration are required
* Proof of right to work in the UK will be requested
