We provide a day service for people who are older and vulnerable and some of whom are living with the effects of dementia, in addition to people who have a learning disability.
The service is focused on providing a person-centred approach to delivering the highest possible standards of care, through a range therapeutic inputs and varied day time opportunities programme.
Providing business support (administrative and clerical) to ensure the day-to-day functioning of the service you will be able to communicate appropriately with people at different levels of ability and be prepared to undertake appropriate training.
To be effective in this role, you will be a team player and understand the issues surrounding disability and older people, ideally supported by experience in this area.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
