Our client, a rapidly expanding company in the procurement supply chain sector, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join their newly restructured procurement function. This is a permanent role based in their London office operating on a hybrid model with three days in the office per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the end-to-end procurement service
Review the supply chain, address single-source dependencies, and expand the supplier pool
Drive value through Request for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bidding processes
Engage with senior stakeholders with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Select and implement new procurement systems as required
Enhance structure and governance within the procurement function
Work closely with office and site-based teams, showing flexibility and adaptability
Support long-term frameworks with high-profile clients
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in strategic procurement leadership, ideally within the energy, EV or infrastructure sector.
Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills
Demonstrable resilience and ability to engage effectively with senior personnel
Experience in using existing frameworks and processes, with the ability to establish a procurement function servicing all areas of the business
Understanding of high-value CAPEX and OPEX categories
Proficiency with procurement systems and/or processes
Ideally CIPS qualified or equivalent with an understanding of NEC/JCT
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with significant gravitas
