About the Clinical Lead Opportunity
Our vision is for each practice to be led in partnership by two critical roles: a high‑performing Practice Manager focused on financial, operational and people leadership, and a Practice Clinical Lead who focuses on the clinical leadership of the practice. The PCL works closely with the Practice Manager to influence the direction of the practice and lead clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a clinical leadership figure alongside the Practice Manager, influencing the direction of the practice
* Maintain clinical standards and focus
* Define the practice ambition and strategy with support
* Mentor others and give them a clinical voice
* Act as a cultural ambassador for the Portman Group and the practice
* Provide a positive influence to all colleagues to support engagement
About You
* Practising clinician with broad clinical experience, looking for an additional challenge and adventure in dentistry
* Keen interest in the commercial and leadership side of dentistry and eager to learn
* Excited by and able to positively influence and provide leadership
* Looking to further develop your career
* Good relationship builder and collaborator, with a rational and balanced approach
* Ability to navigate relationships and gain respect of peers
* Credible, respected and holds yourself to high ethical standards
