Trainee New/Used Car Sales Executive - Cheltenham.
1. Salary: £20,000 basic salary plus performance-related commission providing a £50,000+ uncapped annual on-target earnings.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for a Trainee New/Used Car Sales Executive at our client's franchise approved car dealership in Cheltenham.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of a friendly team, you will trained up to become a fully experienced Car Sales Executive. Your daily responsibilities will include:
4. Talking and listening to customers to build rapport, understanding their requirements, and qualifying own understanding through discussion and gauging customers reactions.
5. Demonstrating the most suitable options to the customer, understanding, and adapting to their buying strategy and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
6. Agreeing the price and payment method and any finance arrangements with the customer direct, working within company guidelines.
7. Positively participating in training and development opportunities to assist our client in achieving its aims and objectives.
8. Liaising with the sales administration team to ensure product availability fits with customer's expectations, places the order, updates customer records and schedules any complementary services/additional work to be completed on the vehicle before the delivery date.
9. Ensuring that each delivery is followed up with a personal call to check the customer is happy. Maintain contact with customers to build relationships and future business.
10. Planning and organising own daily selling activity – for example by telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing customers or general enquiries) to obtain new business.
11. Works with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless service to customers.
Do you need previous experience? In short, no!
Our client is very open to considering individual with no prior car sales experience provided they have a UK driving licence with minimal points, some previous experience in a customer service/sales orientated role, and have a desire and passion to undertake a new challenge in the motor trade. Overall you will have excellent customer service skills, be IT literate, have a positive and helpful attitude and the drive, energy and commitment to seek every sales opportunity.
