Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Calibration Technician to join our Christchurch team!
As our Senior Calibration Technician, you will ensure that all mechanical and electrical test equipment, and tooling, is appropriately calibrated in accordance with the Business Unit calibration schedule and company calibration procedure. You will also support the Business Unit Quality Manager with calibration elements of internal and external audits when required.

Your responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all mechanical and electrical test equipment, and tooling, are calibrated as per schedule and procedures.
* Coordinating calibration and repair of equipment by external providers.
* Signing off internal calibration certificates and reports.
* Labeling and identifying equipment and tooling.
* Managing the calibration database system.
* Controlling quarantine of defective equipment.
* Addressing calibration non-compliances.
* Archiving calibration reports, certificates, and delivery notes.
* Creating calibration instruction sheets and purchase requisitions.
* Supporting maintenance schedules.
* Assisting with audit processes and calibration system improvements.
* Supporting budget planning for calibration.
* Adhering to health and safety policies.
* Supporting other quality activities as needed.
What You Bring
* Good understanding of electronics/electrical testing principles.
* Knowledge of circuit diagrams.
* Understanding measurement principles and techniques.
* IT literacy, especially Microsoft Access.
* Experience with equipment/tooling calibration is beneficial.
* Background in electronics assembly or testing is advantageous.
* Experience in an Aerospace environment (AS9100) is beneficial.
* Budget control experience is a plus.
