In this role, you'll work with students at various levels, delivering a mix of theory and hands‑on learning. You'll be supported by an experienced team, with opportunities to shape the curriculum and grow within the department.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and have professional industry experience. A teaching qualification is not required upfront – full training will be provided for the right person. This is the perfect opportunity for a vehicle technician to move into education and make a real impact in a stable, fulfilling role.
The Role
* Deliver practical and classroom-based sessions in motor vehicle maintenance
* Track and assess student progress using digital platforms
* Work closely with curriculum teams to support programme development
* Monday to Friday – daytime hours only
The Person
* Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle (Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair)
* Recent industry experience in a garage or workshop setting
* Eager to transition into teaching (no prior teaching experience required)
* Based within a commutable distance of Berkshire
