As a Relief Housekeeping Assistant with CrossReach, you will help keep our home clean, safe and welcoming for older people. You will step in when needed to maintain high standards of hygiene and comfort, making a real difference with every shift.

What Your Day Could Involve

1. Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and shared areas
2. Supporting residents to keep their personal spaces tidy
3. Working alongside a friendly, supportive team
4. Helping new colleagues learn routines
5. Following Health and Safety and COSHH procedures
6. Taking part in training and team meetings

About You
You take pride in creating a welcoming environment and are reliable, considerate and willing to help. No formal experience is needed, just a caring approach and a readiness to learn. Experience in a care setting is helpful. You have basic computer skills, PVG Scheme membership and are comfortable working within CrossReach’s Christian ethos.

As a Christian organisation, you will need to have a respect for all aspects of Christian worship.

You will also need to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
