Job Summary
To efficiently manage the field operations including controlling sub-contractors' day-to-day operations and ensuring that material supplies are available in conjunction with the Site Manager. Assist the Site Manager in planning and programming site activities, ensuring work is completed safely. Deputise for the Site Manager when necessary and manage quality standards to meet customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Organisation and control of labour and sub-contractors.
2. Completion of weekly planning sheets to ensure the overall build programme is met.
3. Provide direction to contractors and manage contract quality standards.
4. Coordinate with the Site Manager for material availability.
Health and Safety
Ensure all site personnel comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures. Conduct inspections to ensure safety compliance and that all work is carried out safely. Ensure adherence to environmental action plans.
Sales
Liaise with Sales Executives regarding customer options, variations, and issues. Coordinate with relevant departments for customer choices and resolve issues promptly.
Site Inspection
Plan and arrange inspections with the House Builders Council and Local Authority, accompanying inspectors during visits.
Customer Care
Assist in the completion of Home Quality Inspections, ensuring homes are defect-free and ready for occupation. Support post-completion visits to ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections and complete snagging lists.
Site Presentation and Control of Work
Maintain site appearance and manage waste disposal in accordance with company policies.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
* Trade background
* NVQ Residential Construction Site Supervision Level 4
* Knowledge of building processes, NHBC, and Building Regulations
* First aid qualified
* CSCS card at Manager/Supervisor level
