Site Manager - New Build Housing (Mixed Tenure)\n\nDaniel Owen are proud to be recruiting for a leading name in the UK housebuilding and regeneration sector. They deliver high-quality, sustainable homes and communities at scale through strategic partnerships and innovative construction. As their business continues to grow, they are seeking a highly capable and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a high-volume new build housing development.\n\nPosition: Site Manager\n\nLocation: Nottingham\n\nSalary: £300.00 - £350.00 per day\n\nContract Type: Long term freelance with temp-perm possible if wanted\n\nStart date: Immediately available\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a complex, fast-paced housing scheme through to handover.
You will lead on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors and direct labour, and ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the companies high standards of quality and safety.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOversee all on-site activities, ensuring compliance with programme, design, and regulatory requirements\nManage health, safety, and environmental practices in line with company and statutory standards\nCoordinate labour, materials, and subcontractor performance to meet project milestones\nLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to support seamless project delivery\nEnsure quality assurance procedures are implemented and adhered to at every stage\nConduct regular site meetings and maintain accurate project documentation and reporting \n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nSubstantial experience in a Site Manager role, ideally on large-scale or high-density residential developments\nProven ability to deliver multiple units per week in a live environment\nExcellent working knowledge of current building regulations, NHBC standards, and HSE legislation\nStrong leadership, organisational, and communication skills\nValid SMSTS, CSCS (black/gold), Fire Marshall and First Aid at Work certificates\nDemonstrated commitment to quality, health & safety, and customer satisfaction \n\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you are interested in working for this established company, please apply with your updated CV
