We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to undertake a variety of duties supporting the Financial Accountant to ensure the smooth and efficient provision of financial information to the business in this expanding, fast moving, high transactional volume business across 12 companies. Summary of Responsibilities and Duties Supporting the Financial Accountant with all month end preparation and processes including fixed assets, commissions, marketing cost analysis, accruals and prepayments, fair value and cancellation provisions, P and L review Supporting the Financial Accountant with monthly balance sheet reconciliations Supporting the Financial Accountant with the preparation of monthly segmental management information Supporting the Financial Accountant with all month end preparation and processes Supporting the Financial Accountant with the preparation of required IFRS restatements and external stakeholder reporting Supporting the Financial Accountant with day to day support to the business, dealing with ad hoc commercial queries Supporting the Financial Accountant with year end audit preparation Supporting the wider finance team when required Skills Experience in a similar role essential (or experience within a professional accounting firm) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Strong team player with good communication skills Strong excel skills (essential) and knowledge of NetSuite Oracle (beneficial) Proactive and positive character, keen to learn and adapt in a very fast moving business Benefits 30 days holiday plus bank holidays Family friendly occupational benefits Employee Assistance Programme, including access 24/7 Comprehensive Induction Learning and Development Academy Discounted Gym membership Cycle to work scheme.
