Wanted Service Charge Accounts Manager required to manage Block Management Accounts: Previous property industry accounts experience preferable. Oversee budgets, liaise with clients, support the management team, and ensure accurate financial and administrative processes in Bournemouth.
An independent property company specialising in Block Management in the Bournemouth area is seeking an experienced Service Charge Accounts Manager.
This role focuses on managing service charge accounts, supporting the Block Management Team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth financial operations. The role is fast-paced, requires attention to detail, and offers the opportunity to work closely with a professional team managing a large portfolio of blocks.
Previous Accountancy experience is essential
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Manage and maintain block management service charge accounts
* Prepare budgets, service charge reconciliations, and financial reports
* Liaise with landlords, tenants, and contractors regarding service charge matters
* Monitor and process invoices, payments, and expenditure
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures
* Support the Block Management Team with financial and administrative tasks
* Assist with audits and financial year-end processes
* Develop and maintain effective client and contractor relationships

* Previous experience in block management service charge accounts essential
* Strong accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting skills
* Excellent administration and organisational abilities
