Teaching Assistant – Year 2 SEN Support (Levenshulme)
Start Date: January 2026 | Full-Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded primary school in Levenshulme, currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Year 2 with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role includes a mix of one-to-one work and small group support, helping children thrive in a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide personalised support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups
* Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
* Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help maintain an inclusive, positive learning environment that encourages engagement
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to promote holistic development
Candidate Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training available if required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
