Description
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Supporting with payroll preparation.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
A background in accounting or finance within a similar role.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with SAP and Sage.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
