Overview
Project Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver multiple P removal schemes across the Wessex Water region. This role reports to a Project Manager and involves procurement, installation and handover documentation for all electrical and mechanical aspects. Candidates ideally qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with experience in the water industry are preferred.
Location: Southampton or Swindon or Hybrid
Role & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with all stakeholders and engage with regular communications
* Attend internal and external meetings
* Collaborate with internal and external design teams with input to design and constructability
* Supervision and recording of survey work
* Responsible for the development and management of project procurement schedules
* Aid with the submission of material enquiries and the review of quotations
* Placement of material orders
* Ensure that site installation works and its quality match both design, client and industry standards
* Production of redline drawings
* Production and management of handover documentation
* Assist with the development of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
* Employ a high level of Health and Safety across all aspects of site works
Qualifications / Competency
* Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
* ECS/CSCS card
* SSSTS
* First Aid certificate
* Experience of working within the water industry or related industries
* Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment
* Understanding of Quality Assurance
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
