Role Description
Personal Injury Associate/Team Leader
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office, needs to include two Wednesdays per month for team meeting and file clinic)
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 depending on experience + benefits

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced solicitor to handle a quality caseload of Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers’ Liability, and RTA matters across the Portal, Intermediate Track, and Multi-Track levels. This is an ideal role for someone who is both a strong technical lawyer and a supportive leader who enjoys mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
You’ll play an essential part in the development of our team as the firm grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a quality caseload of 110–130 EL/PL/OL/RTA files.
* Provide casework review, guidance, and training support to a small but growing team.
* Contribute to the growth and leadership of the team, with opportunities to shape processes and mentor new joiners.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to maintain our commitment to exceptional client service.
* Attend monthly in-person team meetings (one Wednesday per month) and work two days per week in the Manchester office as part of our hybrid model.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified solicitor with 6-12 years’ PQE.
* Strong background in Multi-Track and Intermediate Track personal injury matters.
* Confidence handling a mixed caseload of EL/PL, OL, and RTA claims.
* A natural people leader who is supportive, approachable, and commercially astute.
* Someone who thrives in a values-led, collaborative environment and is keen to progress their career.

* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid setup
* Commitment to providing professional, ethical, and client-focused legal services
* Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with relevant practising certificates
