MTrec recruitment are proudly representing our industry leading, high volume manufacturing client in their search for a talented and experienced maintenance electrician. The business is a highly successful manufacturer and is ideally located in the Peterlee area.
The role will be working a permanent day shift, Monday to Friday.

The Job you will do:
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and carry out reactive repairs on production machinery.
* Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical faults to reduce downtime.
* Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
* Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
About you:
* Experience in a FMCG related or high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
* You will be a time‑served maintenance professional‑preferably electrically biased.
* PLC fault‑finding skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
* Ideally you will hold an 18th edition qualification, but this is not essential.
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Flexibility to work overtime when required.
